I have my own style and this is certainly reflected in the stores. Nevertheless, beyond this self-evident fact, above all I wanted to provide "others", whether people in the trade or individuals, with materials and objects that they could incorporate into their particular schemes. Tiles, paints and fabrics are not neutral elements. They have a strong presence, no doubt because behind all choices there is the singular choice of decorators flitting from one novelty to the next, as well as from one timeless classic (which can still be as precisely dated as a novelty) to another…. It's not that I want to rise above the hurly-burly - I am as eclectic as the next person - but because I soon weary of this approach, I try to understand why I never really tire of certain things.
