(...) We decided to delve further into the area, going as far as making "a true ironmongery department": an entire collection, carefully arranged, categorised and listed. From "gazelle" or "whale" door or cupboard handles, to the "Arlesian" curtain rail, from the "blindworm" hook to the "great stag" hanger … almost a butterfly collection. Wrought iron produced by the hands of somewhat poetic craft workers, terracotta enamelled in subtle colours, decorations inspired by jewellery techniques,… |
