... Lime wash, of all the materials used in construction, is the one that always inspires me. Its powdery, very matt surface gives these walls surrounding us a presence so diffuse and so gentle that it seems hardly to be there. Unfortunately, lime wash is a pain to paint on, it wears very fast and continually produces dust. In addition, the number of colours is limited due to undesirable chemical reactions between some pigments and the lime.

As I wanted to draw inspiration from the qualities of lime wash, I looked for the most matt paint possible.
