A wall surface to be papered must also be pasted. Taking care when pasting helps
avoid having to later remove traces of adhesive which is always quite tricky.

Tip from an expert: always paint the wall underneath the wallpaper in the same colour
so that the wall surface is not visible if wallpaper seams are not perfect.
