I drew inspiration from everything and everywhere that my imagination and my mixed culture led me, as our modern era demands. And above all, I have given other people the possibility of playing, because we created a system which allows people to choose among the multiple combinations of 49 colours for our 150 motifs, which means that everyone can invent his/her own composition of tiles as one of a kind. Finally, the number of variants possible is mind-blowing. Especially as I would certainly not describe the plain version as "poor" as it is subtle and takes on a fine patina in the course of time. The cabochons in zellige, in hard stones, in gloss finish also enable you to play with the sparkle of shiny materials in contrast to the matte appearance of cement. Such an abundance of possibilities strikes me as anachronistic and delightful.
