It is certainly no coincidence that they chose to call this style "tropical rustic", and the evocation of peasant life conjured up by the word rustic does seem appropriate. While very nostalgic country-dwellers in London, Paris and Brussels will be able to dream about these marvelous little mother-of-pearl shell squares that they can encrust in their walls, like little distant lights, discreet little symbols of the wonders of nature which is still growling somewhere over there. And as for me, who really loves the words that I have spent my whole life inventing, I would love to repeat like a string of litanies "seashell tiles", because the name really appeals to me. | |
