We call  “gradations” a study that gives the proportions to mix certain colours with white.

Lately, our manufacturer has been looking for a new formulation of its basic recipe to improve its quality,
and in particular its resistance to scratches which was a weak point of our painting, a corollary of its extreme dullness.

This has an impact on the mixtures to obtain the “gradations”,
at least as long as the entire range is not made in the new formula.

So, we continue to sell the “gradation” pages but only as a guideline, because they no longer give accurate enough references.

They can still be used as inspiration, but it is prudent to experiment.
